Regulation No. 173/2021 issued by the Rector of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences on the 9th of September 2021

on meansures aimed at preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus among members of the mommunity of the Wroclaw Uniwersity of Environmental and Life Scienceson

Based on the Art. 23 par. 1, par. 2 point 2, Art. 50 par. 1 and Art. 51 par. 1 of the Act issued on the 20th of July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended), § 8 par. 2 and par. 3 point 2 of the Statute of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, attached to Resolution no. 56/2019 adopted by the Senate of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences on the 28th of June 2019 on the adoption of the Statute of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, as amended, as well as in connection with the Regulation issued by the Minister of Health on the 20th of March 2020 on the declaration of an epidemic in the territory of the Republic of Poland (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 491, as amended) and the Regulation of the Council of Ministers issued on the 6th of May 2021 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and bans connected to the occurrence of an epidemic (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 861, as amended), it was decided as follows:

§ 1


Organization of conferences, events and other happenings organized by the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, participation in business trips abroad and in domestic conferences of employees, doctoral students and students of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, visiting the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences requires the consent of the Rector.


§ 2


The rules described in Attachment 1-3 to this regulations are introduced in order to ensure safe conditions for all individuals present at the university:

Attachment no. 1 - General rules for the functioning of universities in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic,

Attachment no. 2 - Rules in force in the WUELS Indoor Swimming Pool and Multifunctional Hall,

Attachment no. 3 - Rules concerning the functioning of the WUELS Library.


§ 3


The rules determined in Attachment no. 4 to this regulation are introduced in order to ensure safe conditions for conducting classes at the university.


§ 4


The rules determined in Attachment no. 5 to this regulation are introduced in order to ensure safe conditions for the residents of student dorms.


§ 5


The following acts shall lose force:


1) regulation no. 278/2020 issued by the Rector of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences on the 24th of September 2020 concerning measures aimed at counteracting the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus among members of the community of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences during the academic year 2020/2021, as amended,

2) regulation no. 151/2020 issued by the Rector of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences on the 27th of May 2020 on the introduction of the rules for conducting didactic classes in conditions aimed at preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus among members of the community of the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, as amended.


§ 6

  1. The Chancellor for administrative and economic affairs is responsible for implementation of this regulation.

  2. The Vice-Rector for Organization and Development of the University is responsible for supervision over the implementation of this regulation.

§ 7


The regulation comes into force on the day of its signing.
